Worlds Apart traces my immigration movements between two worlds and at first glance, these two worlds represented by the two paintings look symmetrical to each other.
At closer viewing and understanding, one might understand that for immigrants who are part of two worlds at the same time, there actually can never be identical homes, circle of support, culture and identity in these two places. These integral parts of our lives are forever changing through our never- ending immigration journey.
